Designed to be the lightest cycling sock on the market, with padding in the metatarsal area (where the most pressure is applied)and along the sides, and a mesh with breathable channels across the entire foot area; fromthe ankle upwards, the sock is constructed fromvarious sections of mesh to ensure maximum breathability and lightness.
The inclusion of a silicone yarn in the cuff area prevents the sock from slipping down, even during prolonged use or on rough terrain.
Q-SKIN is a polyamide 6.6 fibre with silver ions incorporated directly during the spinning process, which help to regulate bacterial growth with long-lasting effectiveness.
The Q-SKIN® fibre cares for the skin by offering the wearer breathability, freshness, hygiene and comfort.
During normal daily activities or when exercising, our bodies produce sweat; Q-SKIN® technology is activated the moment sweat molecules come into contact with the fibre: the silver ions contained within it help to reduce excess bacterial flora, the main cause of unpleasant odours.
The Q-SKIN® fibre retains its properties over time, even after numerous washes. Bacteriostatic efficacy tested by the MIS PLUS Institute in Zurich in accordance with standard DIN ISO 20743: 10- 2007, and wash resistance tested by the MIS PLUS Institute in Zurich in accordance with standard JIS L 1902/02.
Q-SKIN® has obtained numerous certifications safeguarding human health and the environment. The OEKO-TEX STD 100 CLASS I label certifies that the fibre is harmless to human health.
